The processor is empty and cleaned, but if someone wants to print before June 5 (that is, in the next 10 days -- according to Aap, the chemicals shouldn't oxidate and go bad before then), there is enough blix already mixed, but whoever prints next will have to mix some additional developer, the replenisher was empty in the end. This developer is in two bottles (like one and two-thirds full) under Dieter where the old replenisher tank was before.
of course, if the next person prints after June 5th, then this batch of chemistry should probably be thrown out and a new batch of new chemistry mixed (or try it at your own risk). Maybe rinse and save the "good bottles" that the developer is now in and transfer it to Coke bottle or something.
I tried out two different open, half-used boxes of the Supra roll paper from Manuela at Lumino, one of them had some light leaks, so I wrote it on the box.

We don't technically have "weeks" anymore, right !?? It's just a matter of finding other people to split up the cost of a fresh batch of chemistry (or going it alone is also always possible).

please do not forget to write in a clear way, each time that new chemicals are made, the amounts too...otherwise i will not be able to calculate the rates...

ReplyDeleteThursday the 11 th, maartje helped me - mariken - to mix new chemicals. Coming monday i will inform you more detailed about the amounts etcetera, for now i just wanted to communicate that the prints are completely clean (what a joy!) and that henri from urban resort is dealing with the airco problem we have. he told me he would work on it last monday, which he did not (at least not visibly), so i will call him on monday and let you know what the status is. he had an idear, which i will also explain on monday.
question: does anybody know where the pocketlantern is?
info: i will buy the protection caps for the mouth, nose for when we are doing the chemicals (together with the apron and glasses that should project us enough i reckon.
info: i put a printed version of maartjes instruction (cleaning dieter and changing chemicals) in the doka.
info: i called AAP today and they told me it is no problem at all to leave water and chemicals in the dieter if we are gonna use it in 3 days again. monday i will try to formulate a new set of rules based on the changes allready made/decided. i already talked about it a bit with maartje, maybe we try to find the new form/method in the following weeks.
anyways, this coming 2 months i will be printing often, so if i would be wanting to plan days in one of your official weeks, please let me know if i should not put myself on the scedule because you had plans to print then. i will just put myself on the scedule, and if i hear nothing, i'll presume that it is not a problem.

ReplyDeletetomorrow i will clean en refill the water ranks. the chemistry is doing fine, you do need to expose a bit longer compared with the last chemical mix.
ps i did not go to the movies yesterday. worked a lot that day, eyes were kadoek again...o well.
