dear doka's
after a miscommunication between jeroen and mariken (jeroen did not sign in, took out the developer and mariken, unaware of this, went to print a day later) that led to dieter running with an empty developer tank for an hour, i came in to print today. mariken had told me that the machine had been showing strange shifts in temperature (even went up to 39 C) and therefore, she wasn't able to do much printing at all. luckily, dieterchen is up and running, but i had dirty streaks all over my prints at first. i can understand why it would be dirty after running and heating up without chemistry in it. it did get better, though. i can't promise all will be perfect for the next person but i had no more streaks after i did a few prints. mariken will go next on the 20st, so i leave all the chemistry in and the water.
i am still having trouble with the calender and with ilya we just found out that 3 postings on the calender are not showing up on either of our computers, even when logged in. so, even if we always post on the calender, this does not mean everyone might be able to see this. we need another system to prevent new problems, i talked to mariken and ilya about this.
that's it!
have a nice evening!

dear all,
ReplyDeletedieter is running well. alive and kicking again. still some minor streaks, but that's getting less with every print.
i would like to propose that if you feel the blog is not rendering well, then try to find out the scedule by calling eachother. i have noticed that by refreshing the site, the update information does appear. you can also, if you are unsure if somebody is gonna print (fe because your own mac is broke or you do not have internet connection), write down on the paper logbook what you did. if you leave this on the table, then the next one who comes can see what you did and did not empty, clean etc.
lovely sunny day to all!
greets mariken
good news that Dieter's recovered! we've got to keep Dieter purring and happy.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Marieken to call or double check with others and to use the logbook in the doka!!
